OUR PROJECTS

Unicine donated a mobile x-ray machine to the nursing office at Grace Academy that provides medical services to neighboring villages. In a proactive approach, Unicine’s team visited the clinic to assess further needs while donating school supplies to the academy. During this visit, we identified opportunities for additional projects, including a mobile clinic that can visit villagers and extend healthcare services.

Unicine donated a mobile x-ray machine to Clinique Olivia in Niamey operated by Dr. Susan Beebout. The clinic offers primary care services at a reduced cost to the community. Given the patient population’s susceptibility to lung complications from inhaling desert dust, the addition of an x-ray machine is crucial for better diagnostic imaging and ensuring more comprehensive care for patients facing respiratory challenges in this unique environment.

Unicine demonstrated its commitment to global health by donating 36,000 COVID test kits to Banelino, a nonprofit clinic serving banana farmers in Mao, Dominican Republic. Collaborating with Timmy Global Health and Nano Ditech Corporation, Unicine was able to identify a patient population in critical need of COVID testing and cover the entire cost of delivery.

Unicine’s impact on global healthcare was felt profoundly as it donated a mobile x-ray machine to Clinica Urbana in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in collaboration with Global Brigades. This clinic, committed to delivering primary care at a reduced cost, used the x-ray machine to establish a professional imaging room. This transformative addition enabled the clinic to now provide essential x-ray imaging services at a reduced cost, benefitting hundreds of patients in need.
